The Highlights

Daily Larry Lectures with
VuGraph Projection Screen
"Back by popular demand". This will be Larry
Cohen's third Regional-at-Sea with us and the participation has been fabulous
and enthusiastic. Larry has earned a fine international reputation as
a player. Among his accolades are 26 National Championships including the 2009 National
Open Pairs and 2002 ACBL Player of the Year. He has written many books including the
best-sellers To Bid or Not to Bid and Following the LAW. His four
interactive CDs include two which were honored as "best CD of the year".
Larry believes that above everything else, learning bridge should be fun. His
lectures are laced with humor and his style is easy-to-follow and informal. Lectures
are geared to players of all levels and provide a sure-fire way to improve your game.
Larry is the only bridge teacher who uses the new VuGraph presentation screen in his
lectures, allowing his students to see the hands being played.

The Itinerary
April 30, 2011 - Depart Los Angeles. If you
have time to sample Los Angeles before departing, take the coach tour from the historic
old pueblo area of Olivera Street to Hollywood, walk Rodeo Drive, spend time at
Universal Studios.
May 1, 2011 - at sea
May 2, 2011 - at sea
May 3, 2011 - Puerto Vallarta. When filmgoers saw the beauty of this
fishing village in John Huston's "Night of the Iguana", the town's career as a resort
began. Travelers are drawn by its climate, its excellent shopping, and mile after mile
of palm-lined beaches. Optional excursions include Dolphin Adventure and nature tours
in the lush nearby rain forest.
May 4, 2011 - Mazatlan. Blessed by superb
weather, Mazatlan has two distinct types of
coastline—the rocky Pacific beaches and the broad white-sand stretches loved
by visitors. Its beaches and world-class sport fishing have turned this former fishing
port into one of the world's top resort destinations. Don't miss seeing the golden
spires of Mazatlan Cathedral, or El Faro, the spectacular
lighthouse at Cerro del Crestan.
May 5, 2011 - Cabo San Lucas. Another irresistable resort that was
once an isolated village clustered around its fishing industry, now internationally
famed as a beauty spot graced with crystalline waters and pure white beaches at the
very tip of the Baja California peninsula. The boat tour to the amazing Los Arcos rock
formations may also bring sightings of sea lions, pelicans, and migrating whales.
May 6, 2011 - at sea
May 7, 2011 - Disembark Los Angeles.
