Jan. 21 - depart Miami, FL. From the chic elite of South Beach to the sparkling beaches and nightlife that never sleeps, if you're looking for excitement, Miami is sure to deliver. It's also a city rich in heritage and diversity, so if your pace is a little more relaxed, you'll have lots of options to choose from. Jan. 22 - at sea

Jan. 23 - San Juan, Puerto Rico. San Juan has two distinct personalities: there's the vibrant, modern port city, and then there's the historic colonial outpost first conquered by Juan Ponce de Leon in 1508. Spanish influence is evident everywhere in the city. Visit fortifications, museums and cathedrals throughout the city and remember to wear comfortable shoes. There will be a hosted optional excursion for Paula's guests.

Jan. 24 - Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. Duty free is the name of the game here. Bargains can be had all over the island. From trinkets to that perfect something you've been looking for to go over the fireplace mantel, St. Thomas is a shoppers paradise. But it also has some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean.There will be a hosted optional excursion for Paula's guests.

Jan. 25 - Philipsburg, St. Maarten. The Dutch and French left their mark on this heavenly slice of tropical delight. St. Maarten's beaches are among the region's most breathtaking, but do try to catch your breath. You'll need it when you first lay eyes on the caves and majestic cliffs of Cupecoy Beach. For shopping, St. Maarten's duty-free emporiums and the quaint French boutiques of Marigot are all you could ever want. There will be a hosted optional excursion for Paula's guests.

Pre-Cruise Hotel and Get-Together

Spend a night or two in Miami. There's plenty to do. Head out to South Beach (hot, hot, hot!) or visit the Miami Seaquarium. Shop yourself silly at Bayside Marketplace or the Dolphin Mall or visit the unique Florida Everglades. The Viscaya Museum and Gardens are certainly special.

The Paula Deen optional pre-cruise package is at The Hilton Miami Downtown which has just completed a multi-million dollar renovation. Many guestrooms overlook Biscayne Bay and the downtown skyline and the hotel has the easiest access to all points downtown, including the Port of Miami. Guests can enjoy the rooftop pool with views of Miami, complimentary use of the business center and exercising in the new Fitness by Precor® exercise facility.

Important Information

Travel Insurance is included in your package: Travel Guard provides protection for the traveler in the event that you must cancel your trip due to medical emergencies. Your insurance will be paid at the time of your final payment and goes into effect on Nov. 21, 2011. Other benefits include legal assistance, emergency medical evacuation, travel document and ticket replacement assistance, etc. We are covering your cruise-only cost (coverage for hotel & airline and tours is additional.

Cancellation: If you are canceling the cruise, air, hotel or other arrangements and you have insurance, you must advise Alice Travel Inc and/or Travel Guard immediately, before the cancellation is made. In all cases, if you are canceling due to medical reasons, a doctor’s visit will be necessary in order for a claim to be processed. You must advise Alice Travel of your cancellation within 72 hours after the doctor’s visit and before the penalty increases to the next level (which ever comes first). Any cancellation MUST BE RECEIVED IN WRITING.

Alice Travel Cancellation: Alice Travel reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee as noted on your invoice. It may be covered by your cancellation insurance if the cancellation is due to a covered reason.

Proof of Citizenship: Passports valid until at least July 21, 2012 are required for the Paula Deen Cruise.

Air/Sea Transportation Restrictions: The Celebrity Cruise Line recommends purchasing the air from them. In most cases, the cruise line will make arrangements for you to reach the ship in the event of delays and include air-port transfers; however they reserve the right to choose the air carrier and routing unless you pay a deviation fee. If you make other air arrangements, Celebrity Cruise Line assumes no responsibility, and transfers are not included.

Hotel Packages: If you are purchasing the Paula Deen Pre-Cruise Hotel Package, your hotel room, taxes, service charges, and transfers from the hotel to the pier are included. Insurance coverage is extra.

Photos: Alice Travel has the right to use any photographs taken onboard or on any excursion.

Review all Tickets and Documents Immediately: Please review your invoice and documents as soon as you receive them and notify your agent immediately if there is anything that does not agree with your travel plans. E-Docs will be available online after full payment is received and you have registered online with your personal information. Your boarding pass, “Xpress Pass,” should be printed along with your luggage tags.  If you don’t have internet access and/or e-mail, documents and luggage tags may be obtained at the pier at check-in. Everyone will be getting name badges, daily programs, schedules and other information by snail-mail.

Note: In the event that Paula Deen or members of her family are unable to travel and/or attend scheduled functions for reasons beyond the control of Alice Travel, Alice Travel will not be liable, and no refunds for such inability to travel or attend functions and events will be owed by Alice Travel. Applicable cancellation penalties will apply.
