Oct. 15 - Miami. Get there early and enjoy what Miami has to offer ... the glory of Miami Beach with a stroll along South Beach's famous Ocean Boulevard, where splendidly restored art deco buildings compete with fashion models and sun worshipers for attention.
Oct. 16 - cruising the Straits of Florida
Oct. 17 - Grand Cayman. Grand Cayman boasts endless beaches that are encircled by coral reefs teeming with an
abundance of marine life. On shore, affluent colonial neighborhoods dominate the West Bay area, while the East End affords natural attractions such as spectacular blowholes and fragrant botanical gardens.
Oct. 18 - at sea
Oct. 19 - Cartegena. Charming Cartagena is one of the most fascinating towns in South America. The old city, almost completely surrounded by lagoons is still girded by its 17th-century fortifications. Once these guarded the gold and treasures of the New World, bound for Spain; now they shelter ornate churches and convents, the dramatic Palace of the Inquisition, and other historic gems.
Oct. 20-23 - Transit the Panama Canal and cruise the coast of Mexico.
Oct. 24 - Zihuatanejo. The seaside port of Zihuatanejo was established over 100 years ago. Today it maintains the rustic charm and easy-going ambiance of that period. Picturesque and unspoiled, its golden beaches and brilliant waters are somewhat reminiscent of Polynesia. Just five miles away lies its twin town, the burgeoning resort of Ixtapa, an isolated oasis of high-rise hotels.
Oct. 25 - cruising the coast of Mexico.
Oct. 26 - Cabo San Lucas. Cabo San Lucas is nestled on the southernmost tip of Baja Peninsula, where the cool currents of the Pacific Ocean meet the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez. Commanding rock formations, timeless desert and a translucent sea provide a compelling introduction to this tranquil resort town.
Oct. 27 - cruising Baja, CA
Oct. 28 - San Diego CA - From the old Gas Lamp Quarter to the Horton Plaza, San Diego combines history with progress. Bordered on one side by the graceful Pacific Ocean lapping its shores and the hot desert plains on the other, this magical city is a festive and colorful attraction for tourists and locals.
