Itinerary

Jan. 12 - Depart Ft. Lauderdale. A popular embarkation city with plenty of interest of its own! Visit the newly redesigned Beach and cafés, the historic Riverwalk, luxurious stores on Las Olas Boulevard. or the Everglades for an exciting air boat nature excursion.

Jan. 13 - Half Moon Cay, Bahamas. A day of play in Holland America’s private island: a two-mile crescent of perfect beach; an interior lagoon; private beachside cabanas with butler service, showers and misters; and a wide choice of watersports and activities. Fishing and watercraft excursions too!

Jan. 14 - at sea

Jan. 15 - Oranjestad, Aruba. Colorful floating markets, wondrous coral reefs and landscapes dotted with curiously bent divi-divi trees await on this, the "A" of the Netherlands Antilles' famous ABC islands.The mix of Dutch style and Caribbean color is enchanting in Oranjestad. Visit the Botanica Gardens, and don’t miss the jewelry shops!

Jan. 16 - Willemstad, Curacao. Amsterdam-like canals, gabled Dutch colonial buildings, an exotic floating market This bustling duty-free port has it all plus the world-famous Curaçao Liqueur Distillery and an intriguing coral reef teeming with parrotfish and queen angelfish.

Jan. 17 - at sea

Jan. 18 - Panama Canal, Gatun Lake and Cristobal,Panama. The Canal, and the great artificial Lake that maintains its level, are a triumph of courage and engineering skill.From Cristobal, you can tour Spanish forts and pirate markets, visit a rainforest teeming with exotic wildlife, or learn about the culture of the Embera Indians.

Jan. 19 - Puerto Limon, Costa Rica. Costa Rica is a genuine eco-paradise! Go in search of iridescent blue morpho butterflies, sloths, turtle nesting grounds and wise old shamans. Explore the capital city of San Jose, where museums beckon and markets burst with luscious local tastes–mangoes, bananas, pineapples, papayas.
